Our Story…
Tessa and Danny met freshman year of high school at GDS in Topher’s first-period Global Studies class. They became friends sophomore year, started to hang out junior year, and began dating in the spring of senior year. Their first official date was at Pulcinella in McLean.
While Tessa has been settled in New York City since graduating from high school, Danny has lived in San Antonio, Los Angeles, Boston, Chevy Chase, Richmond, and Poughkeepsie. After six years of long-distance, they finally moved in together on the Upper West Side of NYC in 2022!

The Proposal…
Danny proposed on July 2, 2023 at Tessa’s parent’s house in Rappahannock County. After months of careful planning and plotting, Danny surprised Tessa by proposing in the backyard with both of their families watching from the porch.
Hawaii…
Hawaii holds a special place in Tessa’s heart because her mother’s family is from Oahu, and she has visited every year since she was a child. Danny first fell in love with Hawaii when he visited with Tessa’s family more than seven years ago! Tessa and Danny are excited to share what makes Hawaii so special and to celebrate with all of you at their wedding on August 3, 2024 at Lanikuhonua, “Where Heaven Meets the Earth.”
